DRIVE-IN DRIVE-OUT SWAP INFORMATION

While we have the prices and parts in greater detail on our products page, the Drive-In Drive-Out conversion has became SO popular it now needs it's own dedicated summary page, so here it is...
While our business is primarily developing, producing, and selling these parts via mail order, and despite the swap being the one of the easiest engine swaps in existence, not everyone has the space, time, or ability to complete it themselves, so we offer this swap ourselves. In all honesty we make little to no money from this, this service is purely to allow people to achieve this swap when they otherwise couldn't- Our business is purely the parts we produce.

The basics of the conversion is that once you purchase the vital parts from us for the swap (see below), you are on the waiting list for the swap. At the time of writing the waiting list is around 8 weeks, and the swap itself tends to take 2-3 weeks, presuming there are no unforeseen issues that arise.
As well as our own conversion parts, you need to purchase various other parts from elsewhere to make it a complete car.

The end result car is a fully operational car, with all OEM functions working, and unlike many swaps, this includes engine management light, OBD2 diagnostic port, and so on. The only thing that cannot be catered for at present (but has been done on DIY swaps with our kit) is air-con.

Labour costs for the basic swap- £2000. This is paid AFTER the swap is complete. Only parts are paid for in advance.
VITAL conversion parts that need to be purchased from us for the swap- £4580
TOTAL- £6580

Optional parts from us for the swap-
Baffled Sump- £300

Other VITAL parts, but are not from us, are required for the swap.
We do not charge any extra labour to fit these parts.
(We prefer the customer to purchase these direct, but if you are struggling to find them, or are a foreign customer coming to the UK for a swap, we can potentially order them for you and you pay us)

Can you do it cheaper yourself? Of course! We have had people DIY swapping it, getting bargains and fabricating lots of their own parts, for £5000 or occasionally less. But we won't cut corners on customer cars, so the vital parts we list is the bare minimum we are happy to use, and considering the labour cost alone is £2000, is the corner cutting and/or extra work, worth the savings? We don't think so.
