While we have the prices and parts in greater detail on our products page, the Drive-In Drive-Out conversion has became SO popular it now needs it's own dedicated summary page, so here it is...
While our business is primarily developing, producing, and selling these parts via mail order, and despite the swap being the one of the easiest engine swaps in existence, not everyone has the space, time, or ability to complete it themselves, so we offer this swap ourselves. In all honesty we make little to no money from this, this service is purely to allow people to achieve this swap when they otherwise couldn't- Our business is purely the parts we produce.
The basics of the conversion is that once you purchase the vital parts from us for the swap (see below), you are on the waiting list for the swap. At the time of writing the waiting list is around 8 weeks, and the swap itself tends to take 2-4 weeks, presuming there are no unforeseen issues that arise. As well as our own conversion parts, you need to purchase various other parts from elsewhere to make it a complete car.
The end result car is a fully operational car, with all OEM functions working, and unlike many swaps, this includes engine management light, OBD2 diagnostic port, and so on. The only thing that cannot be catered for at present (but has been done on DIY swaps with our kit) is air-con. The conversion is a detailed service, treating the car as our own, and it's safe to say the car, and especially the supplied engine and gearbox, will come out looking better than it came in.
Labour costs for the basic swap- £3000. This is paid AFTER the swap is complete. Only parts are paid for in advance. VITAL conversion parts that need to be purchased from us for the swap- £4580 (For full details of these click HERE) TOTAL- £7580
Other VITAL parts, but are not from us, are required for the swap. We do not charge any extra labour to fit these parts. (We prefer the customer to purchase these direct, but if you are struggling to find them, or are a foreign customer coming to the UK for a swap, we can potentially order them for you and you pay us) Complete BAM engine/transmission setup inc loom, manifolds, turbo, etc- £600/700 (we recommend S63 VAG Spares to source your engine). 0 258 007 351 Bosch Lambda Sensor- Around £85-95 2x Audi TT inner CV and 2x Rav4 Outer CV- Around £60 for all 4. Varley Red Top 25 Battery + Bracket for relocation to behind seats- Around £230 2wd 02M output flange- Around £80 Gearbox oil seals- Around £15 Chargecooler Radiator, Water Pump, and lines- Around £200 NGK7 spark plugs- Around £20 Alloy crankcase breather- Around £25 New dipstick and dipstick tube- Around £15 Engine oil- 40 weight MINIMUM, we prefer 50 weight Valvoline VR1- Around £40 Engine oil filter- £10 Gearbox oil- £40 TOTAL- Around £1400
DRIVE-IN DRIVE-OUT SWAP TOTAL PRICE (Approx)- £9000. The result is a car is a mid-engine sports car with around 280bhp per ton and a proven 0-60mph of 4.2sec and 0-100mph of under 8.4sec, faster than a Porsche 997 GT3 and unbeatable performance for the money spent. Probably most importantly, this leaves you with a car with an almost unlimited scope for amazing value performance upgrades, up to and indeed well beyond hypercar performance, with value (bang for your buck) unlike any other swap.

New Starter Motor and Alternator- Around £150 each (no labour charge).
We often have customers wishing us to fit an aftermarket LSD during the swap also. This is fine, but we do of course charge labour for this. We recommend a Blackline torsen LSD, which cost around £600-650, and you will need a LSD fitting kit, with bolts, bearings, and shims, which costs around £250-300.
For people aiming for more power in the future, we often get customers asking if we fit aftermarket conrods to their engine. Well, we don't personally work on customer engines, but we know S63 VAG Spares will fit these if you purchase the base engine from him, meaning the engine will come to us with them already fitted.
TOTAL COST- FROM £9000
Can you do it cheaper yourself? Of course! We have had people DIY swapping it, getting bargains and fabricating lots of their own parts, for £5000 or even less if you happen to own a lot of the suitable parts already. But as we won't cut corners on customer cars, we spent a huge amount of time making the swap as OEM as possible, the vital parts we list and the labour charge is the bare minimum we can personally do.
